Visiting cards have traditionally been printed onto white card but if you are considering breaking with tradition then Cool Grey, the signature colour of all our Portobello stationery, is a very sophisticated alternative. We have printed our example card in Dark Orchid ink, which is perhaps a less than obvious choice but one which we think works well, and we have chosen a clean, sans serif font called Block Light.
There are of course a number of other combinations that might appeal to you more and you can create your own favourite simply by following our ordering process to make your own selections. Your Portobello visiting cards include a solid border that frames the card and bleeds off all edges, and these cards will be flat printed for you once you have approved the PDF setting proof that you will receive within one working day of placing your order.
Your Portobello cards use a 350gsm board but you can also order Portobello correspondence cards on the same weight of board or Portobello writing paper which uses a 135gsm sheet. The production impact of the papers we use is measured and reduced at every possible opportunity - from forest management to energy use - making this beautiful paper a positive force toward a balanced environment.
As well as being fully recyclable and biodegradable, the paper we use has FSC certification, meaning that the pulps used are all from managed forests. It is also Heavy Metal Free and, because the bleaching process avoids the use of harmful chlorine, it is classified ECF.
Proofs
Upon receipt of your order we will email a pdf proof to you within 1 working day. We will be happy to amend this proof should you wish to make any changes.
Printing Time
Please note that when you order personalised stationery, you order will only go into print, once you have approved your proof. Following approval it will take approximately 10 working days to produce your stationery. It is then passed on to our courier for delivery to your address.
