Based around the floral ornamentation which adorns the four corners of the invitation, the Parnell wedding invitation also includes a cartouche containing your intertwined initials which you might like to reproduce on other items of your wedding stationery to provide a thematic link with the invitation. The soft cream tones of Colorplan Natural provide warmth and texture whilst soft orange ink provides the gentle contrast. The combination is further enhanced by the tactile quality of the slight depression that is created by pressing the design into the surface of the card using the printing technique known as letterpress.
Letterpress Print Process: In short, this printing process is similar to lithography in that films are used to transfer the graphics onto a block or plate. This plate is then pressed into the sheet as opposed to rolled. During the transfer of the ink into the sheet a slightly debossed impression will be created. The harder one presses the more the debossed area will be pronounced but pressure varies from one printer to another.

Envelopes: Matching Natural (cream) 135gsm envelopes which are lined with orange tissue paper.

As well as being fully recyclable and biodegradable, the paper we use has FSC certification, meaning that the pulps used are all from managed forests. It is also Heavy Metal Free and, because the bleaching process avoids the use of harmful chlorine, it is classified ECF.

Printing Time
Please note that when you order personalised stationery, you order will only go into print, once you have approved your proof. Following approval it will take approximately 10 working days to produce your stationery. It is then passed on to our courier for delivery to your address.
